Job summary

We are looking for one or two Salaried GP’s to join our forward-thinking, innovative team at Fort House Surgery, on a permanent basis, for between 4-8 sessions (Friday is a requisite but all other days are negotiable)

Responsibilities

  • Clinical sessions are fifteen patient contacts with 15 minutes for F2F contacts
  • Duty doctor sessions are done on rotation by all the clinical team and consist of two clinicians triaging requests with admin support
  • Clinical admin of referrals, prescriptions, results and Docman (the practice uses Docman Assist)
  • Participation in practice meetings
  • Very occasional home visits

  • We are patient focused and offer a wide range of additional services (minor surgery, implants, coils, joint injections)

  • We are a Partnership of five (including an ANP and the Practice Manager) and count GP’s, ANP’s, an Advanced Paramedic practitioner, Senior Nurses with specialities, a Nurse Associate, Pharmacist, Physio, HCA’s, Well-being Advisors and Phlebotomists as our colleagues, together with excellent admin support
  • Lunch and Learn sessions are organised together with PLT sessions
  • We host University of Surrey medical students
  • We also have the benefit of having a Citizens Advisor on site as part of a MHIF pilot
  • Career progression is actively encouraged for all members of staff
