Middleton Lodge Practice is looking for a motivated, pragmatic and team-minded GP to join the practice as we continue to strengthen our team, modernise systems and shape the future of the practice. We are a total triage practice serving approximately 13,500 patients in New Ollerton.

A positive opportunity

Like many practices, the last few years have not been without challenge. Due to staff turnover, we are needing several clinicians to get to capacity, therefore the workload is temporarily high. What matters to us is honest representation of the challenges we face and finding the right people to help shape the future of our practice.

The partnership and practice are working tirelessly to improve the practice, and this is your chance to be a part of those improvements. We value work-life balance, and our main aim is to reduce the admin burden across the practice by building a supportive team both internally and externally.

Experience and confidence in triage would be beneficial, although this is not essential and support can be provided.

What we are working on

• Improving pathology requesting and filing processes
• Strengthening prescriptions workflows and safety processes
• Redesigning task allocation systems
• Making best use of our multidisciplinary team
• Our paramedic undertakes home visits, helping to reduce GP visit time

• Salary of £11,000–£11,500 per session, depending on experience
• 1 CPD session per week pro rata
