Practice Supervisor - The Linden Medical GroupGP Practice
The Linden Medical Group is a busy, forward-thinking GP practice providing care to approximately 12,000 patients in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire. We are seeking an experienced, organised and proactive Practice Supervisor to join our management team. This is a key operational role within the practice, providing day-to-day supervision of our reception, administration and secretarial teams whilst ensuring high standards of service, professionalism and accountability are maintained.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems and ensuring services run smoothly. The successful candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day management and supervision of our non-clinical teams, supporting staff whilst ensuring policies, procedures and expected standards are consistently applied.
The role will involve:
- Day-to-day line management of reception, administration and secretarial staff.
- Conducting regular one-to-one meetings and probation job chats.
- Monitoring performance, attendance, training and operational standards.
- Managing routine patient complaints and concerns.
- Coordinating GP and clinician rotas.
- Administering Enhanced Hours rotas in liaison with GPs and the PCN.
- Supporting recruitment, induction and staff development.
- Leading and developing the Patient Participation Group (PPG).
- Coordinating annual PAT testing and delegated operational projects.
- Updating practice policies and procedures when delegated.
- Preparing and administering monthly PPA claims following training.
- Ensuring agreed processes are followed and taking appropriate action where standards are not met.
- This role is not part of the routine reception rota, although occasional support may be required during periods of significant operational disruption or emergency.

- Committed to delivering excellent patient service.
- Experience within primary care would be advantageous but is not essential. We welcome applications from individuals with supervisory or management experience gained in healthcare, customer service or other fast-paced operational environments.
