Main duties of the job

The position is located in various services across Rainham, Rochester, and Gillingham in Kent. The job includes encouraging independence, supporting activities of daily living, effective communication, engaging and motivating service users, specializing in positive behavioral support, recording accurate records, and working as a team member. Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

Communicating - effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods

Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life

Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches

Recording - keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management

Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
