Full-time Band 2 Clerk Typist. Working across 5 days 0830 – 1630
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the oncology team. We are looking to recruit a clerk typist; this role would be an ideal step to becoming a medical secretary with a full induction programme and training given along with opportunities for professional development in a supportive environment.
The interview date will be Friday, 28th August 2026
Why you should join our Team Nice friendly team based in the Bexley wing. We cover both medical and clinical oncology.
We work very closely with our clinicians, who are very approachable, and if you would like to come for a look around to have an informal chat regarding the role, please feel free to give us a call to arrange it.
What you will bring to the role As a clerk typist, you will be responsible for the typing of correspondence and dealing with telephone calls, both internal and external. Liaising with external medical teams such as hospices and GP surgeries. Scanning of documents and incoming post. Covering team members during absence and supporting the wider team were applicable.
