Co-opted Governors - REYS FederationCouncil

We are currently looking for three co-opted governors to join our federated governing board of three local authority maintained nursery schools.

This is comprised of Blagdon Nursery School in Whitley, and Caversham Nursery School and New Bridge Nursery School in Caversham.

We have 5 full governing board meetings a year and they take place on Wednesdays at 6.15pm held at New Bridge Nursery School. We only have one committee that meets regularly and this is for finance.

They also have 5 meetings a year and they take place at Blagdon Nursery School starting at 4.15pm.  We also have a Strategic Planning Meeting in July from 9.30am until 2.00pm and takes place at Caversham Nursery School.

Meetings are normally held in person. We have a varied and committed governing board and mentorship would available, together with a training programme.

We are particularly looking for someone with experience in education and training, especially early years or health and safety to augment our board.
