We are currently recruiting for a part time Porter, working 15 hours per week on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons at our Town Hall site. 

You will be dependable, motivated and able to use your initiative while working effectively as part of a team. You will have a professional approach and a committment to excellent customer service. The role involves lifting and carrying furniture and parcels, undertaking practical maintenance tasks and, where appropriate, working at height using suitable access equipment. Flexibility to work outside standard hours is also required.

This role would suit someone with experience in a similar role, such as caretaking.  An NVQ in Cleaning and Support Services, a recognised first aid certificate, and knowledge of powered cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals are desirable.
