Brookdale Primary School is recruiting a brand-new school kitchen team, and we are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and committed people to join us.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Brookdale at the beginning of a new chapter for our school catering service. We want to create a kitchen team who are proud of the food they produce, enjoy working together and, most importantly, understand the difference that a nutritious, appealing and enjoyable school lunch can make to a child's day.

Specialist support from RPJ3. Our kitchen team is supported by our catering consultants, RPJ3, who work alongside the school to provide professional advice, guidance and training. Successful applicants will have access to ongoing specialist support and development.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Catering Manager to lead our new kitchen team and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of our school catering service.

The successful candidate will lead the preparation and delivery of high-quality school meals, manage and motivate the catering team, ensure excellent standards of food hygiene and safety, support menu planning and ensure compliance with School Food Standards.

You will work closely with school leaders and our catering consultants, RPJ3, who will provide ongoing specialist support, advice and training to help the team develop and maintain a high-quality catering service.

We are looking for someone with strong catering and supervisory skills who can bring energy, organisation and creativity to the role. You will understand how to make food attractive and appealing to primary-aged children and will be committed to creating a positive lunchtime experience for every pupil.
