Salary: £32,916 - £45,352

Contract type: Full-time, fixed-term maternity cover for one year

Broadway First School is looking for two excellent and enthusiastic teachers to join our friendly and supportive team to provide maternity cover.

We are a welcoming first school in the beautiful village of Broadway, with a strong sense of community and a commitment to providing the very best education and experiences for our children. We are proud of our nurturing environment, our ambitious and wide-ranging curriculum and, most importantly, our children, who are at the heart of everything we do.

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about helping children achieve their best, have high expectations and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team. Whether you are an experienced teacher looking for a new opportunity or an ECT beginning your career, we would be very pleased to hear from you.

We are particularly interested in appointing people who will bring enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school. Experience or an interest in English, SEND or wider curriculum development would be welcomed, but is not essential.

We can offer you:

Happy and enthusiastic children who enjoy learning and want to do well

A nurturing, friendly and welcoming school environment

A close-knit and supportive staff team who genuinely want the best for our children

A school where staff are encouraged and supported to develop professionally

Opportunities to contribute to the wider development of the school

Support and collaboration through our close links with other local schools

A wonderful setting in the heart of Broadway

We would love you to join us if you…

Are an enthusiastic and effective classroom practitioner

Have high expectations for all pupils

Believe children should feel safe, valued and listened to at school

Have a clear understanding of how children learn

Can plan and adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils

Can make learning purposeful and engaging across the curriculum

Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families

Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to a team

Are reflective and committed to continuing to develop your own practice

Have experience of, or an interest in, teaching mixed-age classes

Have a keen interest in developing leadership skills in English and/or SEN

Application deadline: Wednesday 11th November 2026

Interview date: W/C Monday 16th November 2026
