Grade/Salary: Grade B, SCP 2 to 3

Contract Terms: 10 hours, 4pm to 6pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time, term-time Cleaner to join our warm and welcoming primary school. Griffin Park Primary School and Nursery is uniquely situated by a public park, approximately one and a half miles from the town centre of Blackburn.

No experience is required as we are keen to invest in your training/development. Equipment and products will be provided by the school.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.

Duties include:

Cleaning of classrooms, corridors, hall and toilets

Buffing of the hall floor

Sanitising and disinfecting surfaces to prevent the spread of germs

Emptying bins and disposal of waste appropriately

Restock of supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
