Job summary

We are looking for experiences GP receptionists to join our team. Ideal candidate will have worked in general practice previously within a reception/admin role. We are a multi site organisation with 4 practices in the Tameside area. You will benefit from support from our team of reception supervisors, administrators and practice managers.Applicants must be flexible with working hours.

Main duties of the job

• Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
• Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary.
• Process patient registrations and verify insurance details.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication.
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
• Ensure the reception area is organised and welcoming for patients.
• Comply with all health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Supported by our current team of experienced receptionists, reception supervisors, administrators and practice managers.
