It's vital for us that every resident enjoys meaningful one-to-one time with our carers, every single shift. ABOUT YOUA background in care is important for the role of Regional Senior Care Assistant, and you'll need a good understanding of elderly care. A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care is essential with a view to complete an NVQ 3, a good understanding of the wider healthcare industry is required. Ideally, you'll also have a C or above in GCSE English
Main duties of the job
As a Regional Senior Care Assistant with Barchester care homes, your role will be to deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care across a 20-mile radius. The role is varied and includes providing support and companionship, ensuring every resident enjoys meaningful one-to-one time with carers. A background in care and a good understanding of elderly care are essential. A Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care is mandatory, with the aim of completing NVQ 3, and you should ideally have a C grade or above in GCSE English and Maths.
