Main duties of the job

As a Care Home Clinical Lead at Barchester, you'll use your compassion and experience to help deliver clinical care to the high standards we're known for. This role involves using your professional judgement to make clinical decisions, manage projects and evolve care levels to meet residents' needs. You'll also update our team with the latest clinical developments through coaching, training and mentoring. You'll have the freedom and autonomy to do things the right way and be valued for what you do. You must be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration, have a teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification, and experience in gerontology. A strong awareness of clinical policy frameworks and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines is essential. You should be dedicated, motivational, and enjoy sharing your knowledge, demonstrated through successful clinical mentorship and performance management. You should pride yourself on a person-centred and compassionate approach to nursing.
