- Help ensure the voices of children, young people, parents and carers influence how CAMHS services are designed, developed and improved.
- Build trusted relationships with service users and families, facilitate participation groups and engagement events, and ensure under-represented voices are heard.
- Gather and analyse feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and support co-production projects that lead to meaningful change.
- Develop partnerships with schools, community groups and voluntary organisations, create accessible information and communication resources, and support engagement through digital platforms.
- Represent the views of children, young people and families at meetings, contribute to service development, coordinate participation activities and maintain records that demonstrate the impact of engagement on service improvement.
Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to establish and embed a culture of genuine co-production across CAMHS. In the first year, you will focus on listening, building relationships and developing a clear participation framework that enables children, young people, families, carers, stakeholders and staff to influence how services are designed, delivered and improved.
Working collaboratively across CAMHS and with partner organisations, you will help strengthen participation, improve experiences and drive meaningful change.
Longer term, our ambition is to create a service where co-production is embedded in everyday practice, participation is everyone's responsibility, and the views of children, young people, families and carers routinely shape strategic decisions, service improvements and future developments.
