Are you an outstanding social media content creator and innovator? We’re looking for two experienced Social Media Officers with a proven track record of producing content that drives positive business results, to join our Marketing and Engagement team.

You’ll create memorable content for the University of Nottingham’s organic social media channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn – to achieve positive brand awareness and directly support income generation through student recruitment.

This is an exciting role which works across our beautiful Nottingham campuses and oversees a network of student content creators to produce user-generated content. You'll also support the Social Media Manager to plan, deliver and optimise posts as part of integrated communications and marketing campaigns.

There is an abundance of people-centred stories at our world-class university waiting to be told, from leading academics and life-changing research to the amazing student experience of UK and international students. This is a fantastic role in a fast-paced and creative environment, which has all the benefits of hybrid-working (a mixture of working from home and across our stunning campuses).

Our university changes lives, so if you’re a highly motivated social content creator, who thrives on working collaboratively and delivering high-impact results, this is the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

We offer:

A friendly, diverse, and supportive working environment

Hybrid working including home and office working each week

Generous holiday entitlement of 27 days (or pro rata) plus standard bank holidays and five university closure days including closure between Christmas and New Year.

Access to a range of benefits and rewards, including fitness and health facilities, staff discounts, travel schemes and much more (see our  benefits website for details)
