Lodge Receptionist (Porter) - 25 hoursUniversity

Brasenose College are looking to recruit a Lodge Receptionist (Porter) to join our busy Lodge team. The Lodge Receptionist will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Lodge and fulfilling the daily tasks as per departmental procedures, reporting to the Lodge Management Team in the first instance and Domestic Bursar when required.

Appointment: This is a permanent part-time post and there will be an initial probationary period of three months. The appointment will be conditional on verification of the successful candidate’s ‘Right to Work’ checks and subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and medical clearance along with a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Salary: Equivalent to Brasenose College salary scale, Grade 3 £27,704 – £28,607 p/a according to experience. (inclusive of the Brasenose Oxford Weighting). Calculated on a pro-rata basis for 25 hours per week (£19,788.57 – £20,433.57) Advancement up the scale is on merit.

Hours of Working: 25 hours per week, typical shift pattern of Monday – Friday, 4:00pm – 9:00pm with Saturdays and Sundays off. You will have a 30 minute break when you work a shift that is 6 hours or more.
