Adult Tutor – Tailored learning

Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service (DACES) is looking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced tutors to work in our centres across Derbyshire and online. We are particularly keen to hear from people who can teach any of the following subject areas.

Family learning – Courses which equip parents and carers to support their children’s learning and development.

Supported learning – Courses which support adults with learning disabilities to develop skills, confidence, independence and wellbeing.

Digital skills – Courses which improve IT skills needed for life or work including online safety and supporting families with safe IT use, essential digital skills and how to use digital devices.

Mental Health First Aid – Courses which provide the skills and knowledge needed to support others with their mental health and wellbeing.

Building stronger communities – Courses which help learners develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to contribute to and strengthen their local communities.

First aid – Courses which provide the knowledge, skills and confidence to respond effectively to common first aid situations and emergencies.

Cookery – Courses which develop the skills needed to prepare healthy, affordable meals and snacks.
