Job summary

Yoxall Health Centre are seeking an enthusiastic and patient focused Salaried GP, to join our friendly rural dispensing practice. The practice has a list size of around 4700 patients.

We are offering 4 sessions per week, x2 sessions as Duty Doctor and x2 sessions as Non Duty Doctor.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative clinical team including GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, Practice Nurse, Nursing Associate, Dispensers and dedicated administrative support.

Main duties of the job

The practice works on a traditional appointment system to deliver face to face consultations and telephone calls to our patients.

The right candidates will share the practice ethos to, Constantly strive to achieve and maintain high standards of patient centred care.

Successful candidate's will undertake a variety of duties including:

Face to face consultations

Telephone consultations

Attending home visits

Undertake management of pathology results

Manage Administration tasks in a timely manor

Make professional autonomous decisions in relation to presenting medical problems

Check and signing of repeat prescriptions and queries

Use EMIS clinical system
