Practice NurseGP Practice

The role encompasses the full scope of practice nursing duties. Applicants must, as a minimum requirement, be fully competent in cervical screening and immunisations. Core responsibilities include:

• Cervical screening
• Contraception services
• Childhood immunisations
• NHS travel vaccinations
• Basic wound care

Appropriate qualifications or experience in managing long term conditions such as Asthma, Diabetes, and COPD are desirable but not essential.

About the Practice:

• We serve a patient list of nearly 12,500.
• We are the part of a PCN, working in a collaborative group of three surgeries to improve local healthcare services.

Our multi-skilled team includes:

• 2 GP Partners
• 6 Salaried GPs
• 3 Clinical Pharmacist
• 1 Practice Nurses
• 1 Nurse Associate
• 1 Trainee Nursing Associate
• 1 Trainee Nurse
• 1 Healthcare Assistants
• 1 Health and wellbeing Coach

A large and supportive administrative team, including an Assistant Practice Manager and Reception Supervisor.

The post is available full-time or part-time.
