Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Dementia Outreach Team, working with colleagues within the Mental Health Acute and Crisis Service, and other multidisciplinary professionals

The post holder will provide a confidential and comprehensive administration service to support the Dementia Outreach Team, presenting a professional image at all times. You will assist in the smooth operation of all general office functions to ensure an efficient and good quality service to patients and contribute to the achievement of efficient service delivery.

On occasion there will be an expectation to provide efficient and effective administrative cover for other close-by bases.

At present, the Trust is unable to offer Skilled Worker visa sponsorship for this post. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK at the time of application.

Main duties of the job

The role will involve a high level of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative procedures and IT systems used within the Trust. The post holder could be the first point of contact for the services and therefore requires clear communication and liaison skills. They will be responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload and will be required to use their own initiative.

To work as a member across the integrated administrative team providing extensive administrative support to the to the team and be responsible for the effective management and efficient working of non-clinical aspects of the Service in accordance with all Trust policies and procedures

Be an active and dynamic part of the integrated administrative team. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of service objectives for the Service.

To seek improvement of administrative policies and procedures, where opportunities exist, within services and across the Cluster, providing co-ordination of activities to support change, working autonomously and using own initiative.

To act on behalf of the patient in enabling the Trust to be efficient and a provider of high-quality care.
