Each part of our organisation plays a huge part in contributing to the seven priorities of our Strategic Plan, and as part of our contribution, Screening Division is looking for an individual with drive and ambition to join its Trainingteam.

Ifsuccessful you will be providing administration support to the Training team that deliver a wide range of accredited and non-accredited learning and developmentto our Screening staff. The post holder will ensure that all administration duties are carried out in line with the awarding bodies'requirementsand as part of the Healthcare Support Workers Framework.

If successful you will be responsible for:

Main duties of the job

  • Working as part of theScreeningDivisionCentral Training Teamto provide administrative support toAssessors, InternalQuality Assurersand Workforce Development Managers.
  • Provide administrative supportforthe delivery of the Level 3 Fundamentals of Health Screeningqualificationand its associated pathwaysto the Screening Workforce Development Team.
  • This role supports the Screening Workforce Development Team with learning and development activities. This includes administrationtasks related to assessment, qualityassurance, and learner support.
  • You'llwork with colleagues across Public Health Wales and partner organisations, meet deadlines, andmaintainprofessional standards. Thedutieslisted are a guide and may change, so flexibility is important.

Job description

  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external queries related to learning and development activities.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with all stakeholders, including learners, ensuringconfidentialityand following agreed processes.
  • Monitor and respond to emails and other team communications, including managing the shared SWDT and ESR learning compliance mailboxes.
  • Support assessors and Internal Quality Assurers by providing guidancedocumentsand links to relevant training materials or signposting as needed.
  • Support procurement and budget processes.
  • Provide admin support to SWDT managers on projects.
  • Provide planning and organisational support to SWDT staff and stakeholders across the Screening Division.
  • Manage own workload, including emails and diary tasks.
