Are you a qualified 7.5T driver looking for a secure, permanent role where you can make a real difference to local communities?

We are looking for reliable and motivated 7.5T Waste Operations Drivers/Loaders to join our Waste and Recycling Team based at our Torr Quarry and Ivybridge depots. As part of a supportive team, you'll play a vital role in keeping our communities clean, safe and environmentally responsible.

No previous waste or recycling experience? That’s absolutely fine. If you have a valid C1 licence, Driver CPC and a positive attitude, we’ll provide the training and support you need.

What You'll Be Doing

• Driving waste, recycling and cleansing vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and ensuring your vehicle is roadworthy
• Supporting waste and recycling collections when required
• Supervising and working alongside collection crews
• Using a mobile tablet to record work and report collection issues
• Providing excellent customer service when interacting with residents
• Working safely and following all health and safety procedures

 What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Valid UK driving licence with Category C1 entitlement
• Current Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A reliable and safety-focused approach
• Ability to work as part of a team
