For 40 years, Towngate Theatre has provided opportunities for people across Basildon to experience, participate, and create arts and cultural activity,
Along with a programme of professional touring productions, we proudly support over 11,000 participants each year through community productions. Welcoming 115,000 audience members annually through our doors with 35,000 attending our in-house pantomime.
Basildon Council is currently preparing for Local Government Reorganisation (LGR), which will change how councils operate across the area in the coming years. While this transition is underway, the Council continues to deliver essential services and remains committed to recruiting talented people who can help shape the future of local government.
About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Duty Manager
The Duty Manager will ensure the safe and smooth running on the venue during performances, maintaining a high level customer experience whilst adhering to current health and safety standards.
About what/ who we are looking for
Must have prior experience in venue or event management with a focus on high attendees levels.
Previous management of staff and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
Must be willing to work unsocial hours and weekends.
