Chelmer Medical Practice is looking for a part-time experienced Prescription Clerk to join our collaborative and friendly prescribing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately and safely manage and process repeat medication requests.
• Act as a key liaison between patients, clinicians, and community pharmacies.
• Provide clear, appropriate advice and education to patients regarding their prescriptions.
• Ensure the practices prescription process remains safe, efficient, and aligned with current protocols.

• Ensure the practices prescription process remains safe, efficient, and aligned with current protocols.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar prescription or healthcare administrative role, excellent IT proficiency and a warm, professional telephone manner, the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure, and a willingness to cover extra hours to support the team during staff sickness or holiday periods.

Previous experience with the SystmOne clinical system is desirable.
