We are a highly progressive, multi-site GP training and teaching practice serving a population of 14,000 patients across Shifnal& Priorslee, Shropshire. Education and mentorship are at the heart of what we do, making this an ideal environment for both newly qualified and experienced GPs.

Our structure allows for efficient workflows, realistic patient numbers, and a strong focus on clinician wellbeing.

You'll be part of a collaborative and experienced multidisciplinary team, including:

Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) ,Physiotherapists ,Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedics .

We actively support the development of specialist interests, including:

Minor surgery (minor ops)

  • Coil and contraceptive clinics
  • Designing and running your own specialist clinics

The Role

4 to 8 sessions per week (flexible)

  • EMIS clinical system
  • No duty doctor days
  • No extended hours commitments
  • Minimal home visits

Main duties of the job

Salary & Package

Job description

A salaried GP is responsible for delivering high-quality primary care, including assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Duties include conducting face-to-face and remote consultations, prescribing safely, reviewing test results, and coordinating patient care with the wider multidisciplinary team. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, participating in online request triage sessions, and contributing to practice meetings, clinical governance, and ongoing professional development.
