Lecturer – PhysiotherapyUniversity

We are seeking a full-time Lecturer to join the Physiotherapy team within the School of Healthcare Sciences.

In this role, you will be supported to deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to the development of our education programmes. You will support students to develop key skills at undergraduate and/ or postgraduate levels. The successful candidate will pursue excellence in teaching and research or scholarship.

We are looking for someone with a passion for student-focused, innovative teaching. You should be well-organised, collaborative, and demonstrate leadership qualities.

The successful applicant should have a postgraduate degree at PhD level in a related subject area or relevant industrial experience. Current, continuous registration as a Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential. An enhanced criminal records declaration will be required.

As part of their probation individuals will be supported to participate in the Cardiff University Education and Fellowship Programme which will give you with accreditation as a Higher Education Academy Fellow on completion of the programme.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week), is open-ended and is offered as either a Grade 6 or Grade 7 Teaching & Scholarship pathway or Teaching & Research pathway. When applying for the vacancy, please indicate the Grade and Pathway you wish to apply for.

Salary:

£41,064 - £46,049 per annum (Grade 6) or

£51,753 - £56,535 per annum (Grade 7).  Appointments to roles at Cardiff University are usually made at bottom of scale unless in exceptional circumstances.
