ABOUT THE ROLE As a Bank Residential Senior Carer at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift. Main duties of the job

A key aspect is respecting the dignity and preferences of residents, while contributing to a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment. The job requires an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care, previous residential care experience, and proven team leadership skills. You should be warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to delivering personalized care and support to each resident. Many of our Senior Carer Assistants progress into Care Practitioners, Care Community Leads, or into nursing pathways, supported by ongoing training opportunities.

As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary.
