What you’ll be doing
As a Barista at the House of Commons, you’ll be part of a busy and welcoming coffee bar at the heart of the Parliamentary community, providing a high-quality and personalised service to a wide range of customers. You’ll prepare and serve great coffee, beverages and food products, take orders and payments, offer knowledgeable recommendations and help create a warm, professional customer experience. Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll play an important role in keeping the service running smoothly, maintaining product availability and delivering consistently high standards in a unique and fast-paced environment.

What we’re looking for
- A passion for creating consistently high-quality barista-made coffee and a willingness to continue developing specialist coffee skills.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt your style to different customers while contributing to an inclusive and respectful environment.
- A positive attitude towards driving great customer experiences, including confidently recommending products and supporting the success of the coffee bar.
