We are seeking a dedicated, highly organised, and proactive Premises Manager to lead day-to-day maintenance, operations, and compliance across our school and designated satellite site.
You will ensure a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment, while managing specialist facilities (such as a hydrotherapy pool and sensory spaces), transport fleet, and essential support services like cleaning and catering.
If you possess a "safety-first" mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex operations with empathy and professionalism, we want to hear from you.
About You:
You will have significant experience in facilities or estates management, ideally including experience within a school or SEND setting.
With a deep understanding of statutory compliance, building systems, plant maintenance and contractor management, you will also be familiar with compliance software, safeguarding practices and will have strong line management and leadership capabilities to develop a diverse team.
With excellent communication and IT skills (including Microsoft Office and compliance tracking platforms), you will possess exceptional organisational abilities to balance daily tasks with emergency reactive work. You will have a compassionate, pupil-focused approach to site safety and will be reliable, calm under pressure and a proactive team player.
A flexible approach is required, including a commitment to safeguarding and a willingness to handle occasional evening or weekend operational needs.
