Job summary
Cumbria Health is recruiting for GP's to work in our Out of Hours Services throughout Cumbria and are pleased to offer Skilled Worker Visa Sponsorship for eligible candidates. We are experienced in completing and working with Skilled Worker candidates.

Our General Practitioners form an integral part of the Cumbria Health team, accountable to the Chief Executive and Medical Director. As a Cumbria Health GP, you will be responsible for providing high quality primary care services to the population of Cumbria, in an out of hours setting.
At our Barrow and Whitehaven sites, we are particularly seeking GPs who can support evening, overnight and weekend sessions. For our other locations, requirements will be dependent on service need, and we welcome applications from interested candidates.
Carlisle - Cumberland Infirmary
Penrith - Penrith Hospital
Barrow - Furness General Hospital
Kendal - Westmorland General Hospital
Whitehaven- West Cumberland Hospital

Job description

To respond to medical problems presented by patients as appropriate which may include: Clinical advice by telephone, Face to face consultations, History taking, Examination, Diagnosis, Investigation, Treatment, Referral where appropriate
Provide health promotion and preventative health care and advice where appropriate.
Provide medical care in accordance with Cumbria Health's quality standards.
Prescribe and administer medicines in accordance with the Medicines Management procedures.
To participate in and support the electronic methods of data collection and record management whilst ensuring appropriate communication with all professionals.
Produce clinical records in accordance with the quality standards and to enable full clinical details to be supplied to patients GPs by the start of the next working day.
