Are you interested in data, analysis and using insight to help improve services for children and families? Merton Council is looking for a Data, Performance and Insight Apprentice to join our Children, Lifelong Learning and Families Department.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your analytical and technical skills while gaining a nationally recognised Level 4 apprenticeship qualification. You'll work alongside experienced analysts, supporting the collection, analysis and reporting of performance data that helps shape services and improve outcomes for residents.
In this role, you'll:
Support the production of reports, dashboards and management information
Analyse data and identify trends to support service improvement
Learn to use tools such as Excel and Power BI
Help ensure data quality and support statutory reporting requirements
Develop skills in performance management, business intelligence and data analysis
We're looking for someone who:
Has a genuine interest in data and analytics
Has strong numerical and IT skills
Is organised, accurate and pays attention to detail
Can communicate information clearly to different audiences
Is keen to learn and develop new skills
