Work with York are recruiting PSS Workers for our local authority client, supporting individuals across York and the surrounding areas.
We have full-time PSS support worker opportunities available across day and night shifts, offering competitive rates of pay and flexible working.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred support.
- Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
- Support individuals with their daily needs.
- Follow care plans, policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Work effectively as part of a professional care team.
You will need:
- At least 6 months previous experience in a PSS, support worker, care or healthcare role within UK settings.
- A caring, reliable and professional approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work day and night shifts.
- Right to work in the UK.
