Main duties of the job

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include responding to patient queries and liaising with the wider primary care team, managing appointment requests, signposting patients to our range of services, and maintaining patient records with confidentiality. You will also handle emailing, scanning, and coding of clinical correspondence, process prescription requests, and utilize other information systems to support efficient workflow processes. We look for new colleagues with reception or customer care experience, excellent communication skills, basic PC skills such as Word and Excel, and the ability to work within processes, procedures, and maintain data security. Previous experience in the NHS is welcome but not essential. You will be supported with 27 days of annual leave, various learning opportunities, and a range of employee benefits.

Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:

  • Reception or customer care experience is essential as well as an excellent communicator both spoken and written.
  • Must have basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email.
  • Able to work within processes, procedures and maintain confidently and data security.
  • Previous experience of working in the NHS is welcome but not essential.
