Salaried GP - 6 session Maternity Cover (12 month contract)GP Practice

The Harvey Practice are looking for GP maternity cover for 6 sessions for  12 months (from December 26) to join our supportive and friendly practice. This role will be based at our Broadstone site, all day Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and you would be working with a young, motivated team of GPs

We recognise that General Practice can be stressful at times, and as a result we have a strong ethos of peer support. We prioritise work life balance with our annual and study leave allowances.

We have been a training practice for many years and continue to have three GP trainers at the practice. Extending this commitment, we are passionate about helping young GPs to develop and progress their careers.

We are CQC rated ‘Good,’ always score highly in QoF and continue to be a research active Practice. TeamNet has recently been introduced to consolidate online learning and training, as well as sharing learning from audits and significant events.

We are part of Poole North Primary Care Network (PCN), which is a forward thinking PCN with established clinical support teams such as: Clinical Pharmacists, in-house Physiotherapy, MSK Practitioners, a Mental Health triage service, Active Monitoring (a guided self-help service for those with low level mental health concerns) and a Counsellor for teenagers and adults alongside our newly appointed Mental Health Practitioners.  The PCN has a strong team of Network Care Coordinators and proactive Social Prescribers.

We are looking for a friendly and approachable team member who will fully participate in aspects of the practice. This will involve meeting daily for coffee, getting involved in regular educational updates and some cracking social occasions thrown in!
