HSSU Coordinator Chichester Hospital | Sterile Services | Bank | Part time Up to £13.50 per hour, depending on experience Our HSSU (Hospital Sterile Services Unit) plays a vital role in transporting sterile and disinfected surgical equipment to the local hospital network. As an HSSU Coordinator at our Hospital, you'll combine basic computer literacy with strong organisation skills. From processing used surgical instruments for dispatch to receiving sterile surgical equipment and supporting our friendly theatre team - you'll make sure everything runs smoothly. As an HSSU Coordinator, you will:

The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres, a JAG accredited endoscopy unit and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/ MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester gate for their follow up physio and hydrotherapy treatments. Our main speciality is orthopaedics. We also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology max fax, and pain.
