Job summary
This advert is primarily for a director of medical education at 3PAs. Clinical work will then be assigned based on specialty of the successful candidate - please see below for further detail on posts which are flexible in terms of number of PAs.
To be responsible for framing the strategic direction of medical education and training in the Trust at both postgraduate and undergraduate level.
To oversee the development and delivery of medical education in the Trust for medical students, resident doctors and GMC trainer accreditation standards for trainers

Tenure: Three years (first year probationary) fixed term, subject to annual review. Post holder can re-apply at the end of the term.
Programmed Activities: 3 PAs for DME + clinical work in adult or older adult psychiatry
The Consultant contract will be substantive.
