Together We Care (TWC), a specialist service within Knowsley Council, supports people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and other complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives within their communities. Our services include supported living, respite, day services and Shared Lives.

This is an exciting time to join us. As we continue our ambitious programme of transformation and growth, we are seeking a motivated and values-driven Operations Manager to join our Leadership Team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the service while ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred support.

About the Role

As Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role across Together We Care, driving service excellence and supporting the delivery of our strategic ambitions. You will also be the Care Quality Commission, (CQC), Registered Manager.

Working as part of the Leadership Team, you will:

Lead and develop high-performing managers and teams.

Drive quality improvement and operational excellence across services.

Support the delivery of transformational change and service development initiatives.

Ensure people receive safe, effective and personalised support.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and learning.

Contribute to strategic planning and future growth opportunities.

Ensure robust governance, compliance and risk management arrangements are maintained.

You will have the opportunity to influence the future direction of services, helping us achieve positive outcomes for the people we support whilst developing sustainable and innovative models of care.

About You

We are looking for an inspirational leader with significant experience of delivering and managing social care services for people with complex needs.

You will bring:

Extensive operational management experience within adult social care.

A strong track record of leading change and service improvement.

Experience of managing services supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex support requirements.

The ability to motivate, support and develop managers and teams.

Strong knowledge of quality assurance, governance and risk management.

Excellent communication, partnership and leadership skills.

The successful candidate will also currently be or previously have been registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and have substantial experience as a Registered Manager. You will have a proven track record of maintaining regulatory compliance, preparing services for inspection and supporting services to achieve and sustain positive CQC outcomes.
