We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our Finance team.
The main purpose of the role is to assist the work of the Business Manager and the Director of Business and Finance in the administration of financial processes.
Duties will also include:
- Produce invoices and statements for school lettings bookings and chase customer debt
- Administer the 16-19 Bursary
- To provide lunchtime Reception cover
- Accurately administer the School’s finance systems – Sage, FMS and Scopay
- Record and accurately log all transactions
- Assist parents with the use of the Scopay system and chase parental debt
- Generate purchase orders and process invoices for payment
- Assist QEGS Nursery with the reconciliation of payments against customer invoices. Liaise with the Nursery Manager regarding chasing customer debt
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Contract: Permanent, term-time plus 2 weeks
Hours: 25 hours per week (work pattern to be discussed at interview)
Pay: Salary Grade 5 – Point 6
Full-time equivalent: £26,846
Pro rata: £15,349
Hourly Rate: £13.77
