The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the School of Allied Health Professions and Pharmacy at Keele University and contribute to the delivery of high-quality Speech and Language Therapy education.

The role is open to Speech and Language Therapists, with experience of teaching pre-registration students in a clinical or higher education environment. You will work with experienced academic and professional service colleagues to develop and facilitate learners’ knowledge, skills and professional attributes.

You will be currently registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Speech and Language Therapist and a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. You will bring subject and practice expertise in contemporary speech and language therapy and deliver content across our Speech and Language Therapy programmes, which include an innovative four-year MSci and an online BSc (Hons) Degree Apprenticeship. We would particularly welcome applications from Speech and Language Therapists with training and experience in deafness and hearing difference and/or voice disorders and/or stuttering. Other areas of expertise will also be considered.

Applicants should hold a good honours degree and ideally a postgraduate qualification. Applications are welcomed from candidates with either an academic or clinical career pathway, and support will be available for the successful applicant's ongoing professional and academic development.
