Salaried GP - Greenfields Medical PracticeGP Practice
Greenfields Medical Practice is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for 4–6 sessions per week. We serve a diverse patient population within an area of significant deprivation. This brings variety, challenge and, importantly, the opportunity to make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of our local community. For the right GP, this is an extremely rewarding clinical role, with the opportunity to develop meaningful continuity with patients and families who genuinely value the care provided by their practice.
The Role
We are looking for a GP who enjoys general practice and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative team. The successful candidate will undertake 4–6 sessions per week, with the working pattern agreed mutually to suit both the successful applicant and the needs of the practice. The role will include the usual range of general practice responsibilities, including face-to-face and telephone consultations, clinical administration and contributing to the wider work of the practice. Greenfields Medical Practice does not take medical students, so there is no expectation for the successful candidate to undertake undergraduate teaching as part of the role.
What We Offer
We can offer:
- 4–6 sessions per week
- Employment in accordance with the BMA Model Salaried GP Contract
- A supportive and approachable clinical and management team
- A varied and interesting patient population
- The opportunity to provide meaningful continuity of care
- A rewarding role where good general practice can make a genuine difference
- Protected and appropriate time for clinical administration
- Support for professional development and CPD
- NHS Pension
- Annual leave and study leave in accordance with BMA model contract terms
- A working pattern agreed with the successful candidate
About You
We are looking for a GP who is clinically confident, compassionate and comfortable working with a diverse patient population. You should value teamwork and continuity of care and be willing to contribute positively to the ongoing development of the practice. Applications are welcomed from both experienced and newly qualified GPs. Applicants must be appropriately registered with the GMC and included on the NHS England Medical Performers List.
Why Greenfields?
Working in an area of deprivation undoubtedly brings challenges, but it also provides some of the most rewarding opportunities within general practice. Our patients often have complex health and social needs, and the relationship they have with their GP practice can make a significant difference to their lives. We are looking for someone who recognises the value of that relationship and wants to work within a practice where their contribution really matters. If you are looking for a salaried GP position offering 4–6 sessions per week, BMA model contract terms and the opportunity to become a valued member of a supportive practice team, we would be very pleased to hear from you.
Informal visits and conversations are warmly welcomed. To apply, please send a CV and cover letter to [email protected]
