Main duties of the job

As a Senior Care Assistant, your main responsibility will be to provide high standards of personal care within a safe, innovative, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Key duties include monitoring residents' wellbeing, ensuring care plans are up-to-date, being involved in person-centred care planning, and supporting residents with their medication needs. You will also conduct staff supervisions and offer support in their development, acting as a contact point for residents and their families as well as health and social care professionals. Our ideal candidatemust:

Have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
Have 2 years experience working in similar care environment.
Have the ability tocommunicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Have a positive attitude to bothsupporting and nurturing residents and staff.
Beresponsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
