This is a varied role offering the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to information governance, data protection and records management across CLCH.

  • Support data protection audits and contribute to DSP Toolkit requirements.
  • Review and provide timely advice on IG queries, including contracts, information-sharing and transfer agreements, service mobilisations and demobilisations, and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date DPIAs and the Freedom of Information publication scheme are maintained.
  • Support records management training and raise awareness of good records management practice.
  • Coordinate the preparation of agendas, reports and minutes for IGG and IAG meetings.
  • Manage the Trust-wide archiving service, including identifying and appraising records held at Trust sites and in off-site storage and preparing records for archiving or ensuring their secure destruction in line with national guidance.
  • Work with the Head of IG, Data Protection Officer and Deputy Head of IG on matters relating to information governance and the delivery of IG strategies, policies and compliance.
  • Promote effective information governance and records management across CLCH.
