Job summary
A Medical Healthcare Assistant (HCA) plays a vital role in supporting doctors, nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality patient care. Working under the supervision of registered healthcare professionals, the HCA provides essential clinical and personal care to patients while helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the medical service.
HCAs are often the staff members who spend the most time with patients, offering reassurance, dignity, and compassionate care. The role requires a caring nature, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Wea re looking for previous experience in a clinical health care assistance role.

Garretts Green Lane Surgery is a small practice in B26. We are a family run surgery, with 2 GP's, Nurse prescriber, 3 reception staff, secretary and pharmacy team - along with a paramedic, social prescriber, physiotherapist and mental health workers.
