Job summary
Community Governance and quality facilitator- Permanent 37.5 Hours
The post holder will facilitate the Clinical Governance/quality Management, to promote and establish the key principals of clinical governance within Community. The post holder will facilitatethe governance objectives and targets to ensure the delivery of a quality service. The post holder will work in collaboration with the Community risk and governance Lead and community leads.
Main duties of the job
The Community Governance Facilitator will provide specialist governance, patient safety, risk management and quality improvement expertise to Community Services. The post holder will coordinate, monitor and evaluate governance processes, supporting services to deliver safe, effective and high-quality patient care.
The post holder will provide specialist advice and guidance on governance, risk management and patient safety matters, providing governance expertise to managers and clinical teams to identify risks, investigate incidents, monitor compliance and implement learning. They will analyse complex information from multiple sources, identify trends and provide assurance regarding quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
Working autonomously across Community Services working to national policy and providing advise across community services. The post holder will facilitate continuous improvement, implementation of national and local patient safety initiatives, and contribute to the development of a positive learning and safety culture.
