Senior Server Engineer x 2NHS
Job summary
The Senior Server Engineer will be part of a team responsible for the operational management of hybrid cloud services including hyperconverged infrastructure, spanning multiple on premises datacentres as well as third party cloud vendors. The team is also responsible for many traditional bare metal services located across the North East London ICB customer base. This role is a highly skilled technical role, requiring strong troubleshooting skills and an eye for detail. The role requires experience with various technologies and tools such as Nutanix AHV, Nutanix Prism Central/Element, Nutanix Files, Nutanix failover business continuity, Azure IaaS, PowerShell, API integrations, Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, Group Policy, DHCP, BeyondTrust Remote Console and Privileged Remote Access, Adaxes, ManageEngine.
This role is a senior role, as such mentoring of junior employees is required, as well as communication of complex technical tasks to non-technical colleagues and customers. Occasional requirement to provide team leadership when line management is on leave, as well as leadership in ITIL processes such as Change Management, Major Incident Management and Problem management.
