Watership Down Health – Hampshire

We are a friendly, supportive training practice in Hampshire and are looking for a GP Locum to cover maternity leave, working up to six sessions per week for approximately four to six months.

We are happy to be flexible around days and working times for the right candidate.

Start date: As soon as possible
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic GP with excellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care, who will enjoy being part of our friendly and supportive team.

At Watership Down Health, we have 6 GP Partners and 11 Salaried GPs and are a mixed rural/semi-rural practice based across the beautiful Hampshire countryside. We have a close-knit and highly valued practice team, including a Practice Nurse Manager, Practice Nurses, Nurse Associates, Health Care Assistants, and supportive Admin and Reception Teams.

We are a high-achieving training practice with a friendly and dynamic working environment, and we have very positive feedback from our patients about the care they receive.

We are also fortunate to work closely with our PCN colleagues, providing access to a range of additional supporting roles, including Clinical Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, Social Prescribers, Mental Health Support, Health and Wellbeing Advisors and Care Coordinators.

Our daily meetings with the community teams also enable us to work closely together to provide joined-up care for our housebound patients.
