Job summary

The Urology Department at UCLH is recruiting a highly motivated and dedicated full time urology clinical fellow to join the Female, Reconstructive and Adolescent service for a 12 month fixed term post.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest urology departments in the UK and will have the opportunity to gain experience with our expert consultants in a specialist, tertiary referral centre.

Main duties of the job

The fellow will be responsible for patients admitted to the service and their day to day care. They will attend ward rounds, clinic and assist in theatre. They will be expected to take part in audit and research projects, as well as take part in teaching undergraduate and post graduate students as well as other staff groups.

This role include the urology on call rota, 1 in 16, to support emergency urology admissions at UCLH.

The urology department offers comprehensive care for the whole spectrum of Urology services and is split into 6 sub-groups, the teams work together closely along with other services such as gynaecology, womens health, assisted conception unit, oncology and the Uro-radiology.

Reconstructive Urology Functional, reconstructive and adolescent urology and Neuro- Urology Stones (including Lithotripsy) Andrology Uro-oncology General urology
