Job summary

Join 18 Week Support as a Consultant Dermatologist and make a direct contribution to improving patient access to NHS care. We are seeking experienced Dermatologists to deliver both Two-Week Wait (2WW) and General Dermatology clinics across our NHS services.

You will work alongside experienced clinical teams, helping to reduce waiting times while delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. This is an opportunity to use your expertise in a supportive environment, with flexible opportunities available across a range of NHS sites.

Main duties of the job

  • As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dermatology clinics, including:
  • Assessing, diagnosing and managing patients across 2WW and General Dermatology pathways.
  • Undertaking comprehensive dermatological examinations and clinical assessments.
  • Assessing and managing patients with suspected skin cancer where appropriate.
  • Developing and communicating appropriate treatment and management plans.
  • Providing specialist clinical advice and guidance to patients and colleagues.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation and communicating outcomes appropriately.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
