The Senior Pelvic Health Physiotherapist is responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients presenting with pelvic floor dysfunction and related conditions.

The post holder will deliver high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy interventions across outpatient and ward settings, supporting individuals with bladder, bowel, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions, and postnatal rehabilitation needs.

The role will contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and multidisciplinary team working to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care. The Senior Physiotherapist will also provide clinical supervision and support to junior staff, students, and support workers.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Pelvic Health Physiotherapist to join our team.

In this role, you will work as an autonomous practitioner managing a varied and often complex caseload of patients with pelvic health conditions, including bladder and bowel dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, and antenatal and postnatal musculoskeletal issues.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessment and treatment, working closely within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care.

The post holder will also contribute to patient education, group sessions, and service development, while supporting the supervision and development of junior staff and students. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician looking to further develop their specialist skills within a supportive and evolving pelvic health service.
