Job summary

This will be a one year, fixed-term contract in the CAT to cover maternity leave. This is a valuable opportunity for the candidate to develop advanced clinical assessment skills in cardiology and to learn to manage a dynamic workload with significant levels of autonomy.

Main duties of the job

To provide clinical support to existing team members regarding assessment and treatment of a dynamic and evolving workload throughout the hospital. The candidate will also assist with the implementation of the ATLAS pathway.

Job description

To assist with:

Assessment and treatment of acute coronary syndrome patients

Assessment and treatment of patients with new-onset atrial fibrillation

Assessment and treatment of patients with chest pain of unknown origin

To implement the ATLAS pathway
